4th March 1924
A committee meeting was held on March 4th. The chief business was to receive the report from the Treasurer of the financial result of the opening ceremony. Mr Hood reported that the takings for the day amounted to £26-6-3. This was considered very satisfactory.
It was decided to let the dance room be open on Saturday nights for dancing from 6 to 10 pm. It as also decided that boys should come to the Club on Thursday evenings from 6 to 9 pm. Mr Hood was instructed to buy some games for the Club.
A letter was read from Mr Twentyman congratulating the committee upon the way in which the arrangements for the opening ceremony were carried out.
